| Simon Mackarness |
Simon is the Senior Partner and deals with Wills and financial management for the elderly, inheritance tax planning, powers of attorney, commercial property matters, charities and voluntary organisations. His hobbies are amateur dramatics and motorcycle touring, and having served for many years in the Territorial Army, he is a holder of the Territorial Decoration. He is married with two grown up children. |

| Dennis Morrison |
Wills, probate, trust matters, inheritance tax planning, Company law and other commercial matters, including partnerships. Dennis is a family man. His interests include gardening, cooking and fishing for sea trout. He also likes to spend his free time in the summer watching cricket. |

| Roger Petch |
Roger deals with commercial and domestic conveyancing, Wills and Powers of Attorney. Roger has been with the firm since he qualified as a Solicitor in 1976. He enjoys most sports, especially football. He was involved for many years managing a side at Petersfield Town Juniors. He particularly enjoys sailing. |

| Claire Thompson |
Claire has worked for the firm since 1996. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and became a partner in 2004. Claire specialises in private client work which includes Wills, Probate, Trusts and Powers of Attorney. She is an associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly and also a member of the Association of Women Solicitors. |

| Samantha Hellyar |
Samantha joined the firm in September 2005. Sam, who is a solicitor, deals with all aspects of family work and litigation matters. Sam is a member of Resolution and is also currently undertaking training in order to qualify as a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). Sam’s hobbies include cricket (she's a keen supporter of Hampshire and England) and lacrosse. She is a member of her local Church Council. |

| Michael Parr |
Michael has been with us since 1972 and is a highly experienced Legal Executive. He specialises in probate, trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and most tax matters. He is a member of the Society of Estate & Trust Practitioners and Solicitors for the Elderly. He is married and when not spending time with their dog enjoys angling and snooker. |

Ros is the newest member of our busy residential conveyancing department. Ros is a Legal Executive with over
20 years experience in domestic conveyancing in freehold, leasehold and re-mortgage work. Married with grown up twin
daughters Ros enjoys the Arts, music, walking, travelling and touring with her husband Paul in their classic car. |

| Patrick Hunter |
Patrick has been with us since January 2004. He spent some years as an archaeologist after taking his Master's degree at Sheffield University, before deciding on a change of career. He still spends some of his spare time "digging," is a rugby coach and enjoys fishing. He is able to advise on legal matters affecting archaeology but he mainly deals with probate. He can turn his hand to wills and both residential and commercial conveyancing and also undertakes trade mark registrations. |

| Charlotte Oldham |
Charlotte joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in September 2007. She has a degree in Biology from Southampton University but then decided to take up the law and now has an LLB after completing her studies. Charlotte is a member of the UK Environmental Law Association and enjoys helping her local conservation volunteers at weekends. She is a keen cook and also regularly attends the gym to keep fit. |
